Dear researchers,

A few manuscripts can be still proposed for the following. We will close
the call on 20-Feb-2017 (Monday). A good number of expression of interest
has already been received.

Takeshi Imayama (Okayama University of Science), Catherine Mottram
(University of Portsmouth) and I (Indian Institute of Technology Bombay)
invite you to submit tentative titles for original- and review manuscripts
for a proposed Geol Soc London SP Vol: *“Inverted Metamorphism in
Collisional Tectonic Regimes”,* *within 20-Feb-2017 (Monday)*. After
compiling such titles, the proposal will undergo review for a decision.

Manuscripts focusing theoretical development as well as regional aspects of
inverted metamorphism from collisional terrains, preferably with
multidisciplinary approach, are welcome.

Please ask me for any clarifications.

Due to the recent evolution of thought regarding the interplay between
extrusion, thrusting, exhumation and inverted metamorphism in orogens,
there is a need to synthesize geoscientific data collected by diverse
methods, including metamorphic petrology, geochemistry, analytical- and
analogue tectonic models, structural geology, geophysical methods,
geochronology etc. to understand the spatial and temporal evolution of
inverted metamorphic zones. We anticipate that this special volume will
serve as a catalyst for new discussion on this traditional tectono-
metamorphic problem that has already been the focus of study for
generations of geoscientists.

Best,
Dr. Soumyajit Mukherjee
