Hi Guys

We at Snozone are in the begging of trying to organise an interactive educational event & any help or advice would be very much welcome

Please see below a rough idea of what we are trying to introduce

All children and young adults will learn about the Polar ice caps at some stage in their education and here at Snozone we would love to give them a real live interactive experience:

We want to make the slope the actual polar ice caps and have each student see and feel & hear ( a small taster) of what an arctic expedition is actually like .

The rough idea would involve different interactive educational stops along the slope and off

1.	Start at base camp with an introduction with your real life polar explorer & try on all the clothing and see the actual equipment they use on expeditions
2.	Your explorer would take you further up the slope on your mini expedition to meet the real life huskie pack! And their pack leader to learn how these amazing dogs live and their natural environment
3.	OH NO! one of your expedition team has fallen and hurt their ankle! A small introduction to first aid in the arctic and working together as a team to help your team member continue on your expedition
4.	YOU HAVE MADE IT! Plant your teams flag at the top or the Arctic! Here your guide would explain how Snow & the ice is made and the environment of the ice caps and how it’s up to our future humans to save it
5.	Make your way back to base camp on our “arctic trail” and sledge the remaining way down!
6.	Make your way up to our Alpine suite and meet the real penguins! Here you learn how these cute little lovelies live and thrive in this environment and where they fit on the food chain!
7.	This leads nicely into meeting BJORN the polar bear!!! Bjorn and his minder will tell you all about the polar bears and how we can help them in the future
8.	Get your class to work together to build ( soft play ) an igloo as a team!

We are still in early stages of planning and the locations/number of each stop could vary and the polar bear and penguin talks may be done in larger groups

Snozone is looking for any help possible to make sure this event will be successful and a great experience to all children of all ages and ability we can even provide adaptive sledges for those not able to manage the slopes alone and as it’s also a sensory experience we can even cater for those who need extra TLC or those with disabilities

Lunch and refreshments would also be included in this great day out!

We would love to welcome Schools, academies, Cubs, Scouts, Brownies, colleges & anyone who has an educational need to learn about the arctic

Thank you so much for your help and time
