Postdoctoral Research Assistants in Modelling and Analysis of Cerebral Perfusion Imaging (2 posts)

We are seeking two full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistants to join the QuBIc research group at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, University of Oxford. The posts are fixed-term for 3 years in the first instance.
These posts are connected to the EPSRC funded project on Controlling Structure Induced Variations in Non-Invasive Perfusion MRI of Neurodegeneration. You will be responsible for developing new methods to quantify perfusion from Arterial Spin Labelling MRI data and using such data to build personalised reference perfusion images for use in the detection of subtle perfusion changes associated with neurodegenerative diseases.
You should possess a PhD/DPhil (or near completion) or equivalent in an associated research area such as medical image analysis or acquisition. You should have experience of, or be interested in, methods associated with tracer kinetics, Bayesian inference and/or machine learning. You would also be interested in collaborating widely with other groups and disseminating research outputs as software tools.

Informal enquiries may be addressed to Professor Michael Chappell ([log in to unmask]).
