Dear all,

I'm trying to run a group analysis with Melodic ICA (temporal concatenation mode) followd by dual_regression on fMRI data, TR = 1s.
First of all, the registration, the Eigensprectrum analysis and the ICA networks look reasonable. But I came across some strange things which I do not understand:

1. The calculated timecourse is only 60 s long - but I fed 78 datasets á 60 s into the temporal concatenation Melodic. Shouldn't the timecourse be 78 x 60s long for temporal concat?

2. The amplitude in the timecourse is very low during the first half and highest during the last 30s - for all ICs, like the example below. I expected to see a timecourse with higher overall variance.

Is there something wrong with my analysis or is that the expected output? (why?)

With best regards,

Angelika
