It is because their overall qualification fee cannot be divided by 3 for each unit.

Has anyone else noticed that AQA are charging an award fee for AS & A2 Maths and Further Maths as well as a unit fee???
10p per student for AS and 20p per student for A level
Ive looked back through paperwork and cannot see that has ever been the case before, and it’s certainly not happening with other subjects. Sneaky.
