  • Learn about the latest developments in the scientific methodology for investigating new surgeries and medical devices
  • Hear internationally renowned surgical researchers discussing innovation and evaluation in multiple clinical areas
  • Present your research on innovations in surgery and therapeutic technology to an international audience of clinicians, scientists, manufacturers and regulators
  • Learn about IDEAL pathways for innovation in medicine and perspectives on regulation and reimbursement
  • IDEAL as EBM framework in surgery, device innovation and interventional care

Promoting innovation and evaluation in modern surgery and other invasive technologies including implants is one of the main challenges in healthcare. IDEAL is a development of Evidence Based Medicine approach designed to provide practical solutions to the real problems of surgery, devices and other complex therapies where randomised trials are often problematic. The second IDEAL international conference will focus on the hottest topics in surgical/interventional care in various clinical areas and celebrate the continuing work of the IDEAL Collaboration. The conference will provide real-world context and a wide variety of perspectives including surgeons, methodologists, professional societies, industry, regulators, ethicists, and payers. Plenary lectures will be intermixed with parallel educational sessions and opportunities for surgeons and scientists to discuss hot topics in surgery, devices and present their own innovative work.

Registration is now open at www.ideal-conference2017.com – early registration discount available until February 28th! Registration fees include breakfast and lunch each day of the conference, and CME credits will be available for physicians. For further information, contact: [log in to unmask] or visit www.ideal-collaboration.net.
