CALL FOR APPLICANTS: JBI Low and Lower-Middle Income Country (LMIC) Clinical Fellowship 2017

Dear EBHC List,

I am pleased to announce that our call for applications for the JBI LMIC Clinical Fellowship positions is now open for 2017. The JBI Evidence-Based Clinical Fellowship Program is a six-month work place, evidence-based, implementation program involving 2 x ten-day intensive training workshops in the Joanna Briggs Institute in Adelaide, and conducting a work place evidence implementation project in the intervening months.

Applicants must be health professionals currently working in their home country, with access to a clinical setting. They must be able to identify a topic of interest in an area in which they would like to conduct a baseline clinical audit, implement evidence based strategies, and then conduct a follow-up clinical audit aimed at improving outcomes. Past projects have included topics such as: (see attached examples)

*         Improving management of primary postpartum hemorrhage in birthing women

*         Diagnosis of tuberculosis in children under five years of age

*         Improving treatment for uncomplicated malaria in children
