Very sorry to receive this news Mary and thank you for sharing. Rashida’s book and her visits were a source of inspiration for many ESOL students (and this teacher). The Urdu version of her book is a rare resource for new users of Urdu. May her family be granted the strength to bear this loss.

Rashida wrote her life story in the Our Lives series of readers, www.ourlivespress.co.uk<http://www.ourlivespress.co.uk> and visited many ESOL classes to talk about her book. She was an inspiring woman who handled her deafness with great courage.
