Apologies for any cross-posting

Dear colleagues. The *AccessAbility Outreach Team (not recruitment) at the University of Greenwich (UK) has launched an open Facebook group for prospective, and current disabled students. Disability in this context includes physical disabilities; mental health conditions; long-term health conditions; and the dyslexia and autism spectrums. We know that starting university can be quite scary but for disabled students, this can be more extreme.

Whilst the group is aimed at prospective and current disabled students, we also welcome members who are disability practitioners, researchers, assistive technologists, SENCOs and teaching staff. We also welcome members from outside the UK. The group is there to provide information and share good practice. All posts are approved before going live to prevent bullying/trolling.

The group is called: University of Greenwich- STAART. We also have a Twitter group (@GRE_STAART) as not everybody likes Facebook.

More information can be found on our website: http://www.gre.ac.uk/aap

Many thanks for your time, and please forward this email to people you know who may be interested

Best wishes

Melanie?
