Hi Zack,

Certainly there is no reason to do this. MotionCor2 checks at the beginning of execution if the ouput file can be opened. If not, it will report an error and exit right away. Please send me the command used to execute MotionCor2. I will look into this. Thanks.

Hi,

This is a comment directed to the MotionCor2 team. I launched MC2 and misspelled my output directory in the script and instead of throwing an error it appears to have ran through the entire dataset normally but without saving any of the aligned images. Is there a reason someone would want to do this or should this be considered a bug? Is it possible the files were written to some default directory I cannot see in the output log?

Thanks,
