The MQIC (MAXQDA International Conference) will take place March 1-3, 2017 in Berlin, Germany. This conference will bring together MAXQDA users from all over the world. Be part of this vibrant event to share, discuss and improve your knowledge and skills on methodological and practical themes of qualitative research. The conference will focus on continuing professional development using MAXQDA in different research settings. You will also have the unique possibility to meet up with the MAXQDA development team.

# Call for Posters - open until Jan 31, 2017

A poster presentation session and award ceremony will be held on Thursday, March 2nd. Posters should present how your analysis relates to your use of software for analyzing qualitative data. Posters about teaching and studying MAXQDA are also appreciated. The call for posters is open until January 31st, 2017.

# Keynotes

The method keynote will be held by Prof. Zhiyong Zhu (Beijing Normal University). His keynote "Qualitative Research Methods Development in academic development in China" will address the current status and perspectives of qualitative research in China.
The developer keynote will be held by Prof. Udo Kuckartz and Dr. Stefan Rädiker. Their keynote "Expanding Traditional Methods for Analyzing Qualitative Data" introduces the latest developments of MAXQDA.

# MAXQDA Best Practice Roundtables
----------------------------------
Meet other MAXQDA users at thematic roundtables and discuss best practices, ideas and solutions regarding computer-assisted qualitative data analysis. Each table is moderated by an expert on the topic, which include: Teaching and learning MAXQDA, organizing data, implementing research methods, working with media data, using visualizations for analysis and presentations, and more.
