Strange that those PhD students, scientists and researchers are not putting their name to their platform nor offering any of their writings.

This is more useful, thanks. However I have not insinuated that you are using spam accounts.

Dear Jo,

We are very sorry that you insist on putting a bad light on the SED platform and trying to tarnish our reputation, which we take very seriously.

Your insinuation that we are using spam accounts, has no basis. There are no spam accounts. We have always received organic likes and follows.

In relation to who is behind this platform, we are a group of PhD graduates, scientists and researchers, from different countries, who have come up with this idea. We are currently working on this platform, without making any revenue, out of our own free time.

Finally, in relation to the articles, news and events we will be uploading on our platform, these will all be free of charge, for the time being, unless otherwise notified. We are not asking to have work done for us, but rather, we will be uploading and writing about the events, news and information ourselves. We are looking for people to contact us about any research or events they want us to publish about.

I hope this answers satisfactorily your questions.

Should you have any further questions, we would ask you to contact us privately over [log in to unmask]

Have a nice day,

Hmm. You've not answered my questions about who's behind it, or what you're offering contributors in terms of payments. To be honest my main 'red flag' warnings are that your July tweet has over 30 likes mostly from obviously spam accounts, and the people you're following from that account seem to be fairly random and irrelevant.

Until there's more clarity I'd also advise people to steer clear. I'm very happy to eat my words if and when this is resolved.
