Great idea Paige, I've shared this with a couple of friends. I hope you'll forgive me hijacking the thread to add in a slightly techy bit about Twitter. I recently learned that Instagram has switched off its support for Twitter 'cards' (those pictures that automagically appear when you include a link from a website) and so if someone has Instagram set to re-post to Twitter the picture won't appear, just a link to the picture on Instagram. It's possible to set up a redirect that bypasses this so that the picture does show as a typical embedded image in a tweet. By happy coincidence I may have blogged about how to do this ;) How to display Instagram pictures correctly in tweets using IFTTT https://howtodotechystuff.wordpress.com/2016/10/23/display-instagram-pictures-correctly-in-tweets/ But so have lots of other people, and some of them several years before I discovered why the pictures didn't appear ;) https://www.google.co.uk/search?site=&source=hp&q=instagram+twitter+cards Jo (psci-com owner) On 12 January 2017 at 21:03, Paige Jarreau <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > The LSU College of Science is joining forces with SciFund to offer a > 3-week online course on Using Instagram to Boost you Science > <https://scifundchallenge.org/2016/12/14/new-class-using-instagram-to-boost-your-science/> > ! > > The course starts January 27th.
