·         Using e-learning to improve student engagement in the biosciences: a workshop for HE educators,<http://biochemicalsocietyportlandpress.createsend1.com/t/d-l-hliuldk-l-ju/> 20 March, London​. FREE FOR BIOCHEMICAL SOCIETY MEMBERS!
This workshop is aligned to Descriptor 2 of the UK professional standards framework (UKPSF), so successful completion can be used as evidence when applying to become a Fellow of the HEA. The areas of activities covered are K3 and V2.

·         Effective Teaching strategies for Cancer Biology lecturers,<https://www.biochemistry.org/Events/tabid/379/MeetingNo/TD013/view/Conference/Default.aspx> 29 March, London. FREE FOR BIOCHEMICAL SOCIETY MEMBERS!

·         Protein modelling and its applications in current science<https://www.biochemistry.org/Events/tabid/379/View/Conference/MeetingNo/TD014/Default.aspx>, 6-7 April, Keele University.


Targeted at both early career and established scientists (including PhD students and PostDocs), this two day event will look at how to generate 3D models of proteins where no structural data is available and critically evaluate their usefulness for solving scientific problems.
