This is a reminder that the deadline for applications for the Hourly Paid Lecturer position in Journalism at Middlesex University is today.


The modules are at levels 4 and 5 and require teaching of both theory and practice of journalism.

 

The HPA will be able to teach news and feature writing skills as well as basics in law and ethics. Also desirable is knowledge of global journalism, including developments and implications of a changing global media landscape.

 

Requirements:

 

-  Appropriate academic qualifications at postgraduate level or equivalent professional experience;

 

-  Ability to deliver high quality teaching at HE level;

 

- Ability to supervise student-led projects;

 

-  Understanding of good professional practice in learning and teaching.
