Hi Tom, We use a company called customark for our labels, they made our object labels using a suitable adhesive for our purposes after we told them what we were sticking them to. When we moved to a dedicated label printer, they also supplied the unit and printed the fixed background info on the labels too.

We’re planning the best way of labelling boxes from our photographic archive with barcodes.
Can anyone recommend a source for labels that are robust and won't fall off with time? We’re happy to print them ourselves, or consider that being outsourced to the manufacturer. The main concern is the robust nature of the labels and adhesive. In total about 10,000 labels will be needed.
