Led by Alison Brettle, Professor in Health Information and Evidence Based Practice in the School of Nursing, Midwifery & Social Work at the University of Salford, Roy Vickers, Academic Support Librarian at the University of Salford, and Mark Burgess Subject Librarian at Manchester Metropolitan University.

This interactive workshop discusses the various phases in writing an effective research proposal, and covers the when you need to write a research proposal, why you write one, and how you write it, using examples to illustrate the most effective way to communicate research ideas.
