Hello everyone

Expressions of interest: Newsletter Editor

We are currently welcoming expressions of interest for the role of Editor of the quarterly Health Libraries Group Newsletter. After 8 years on the job it is time for me to hand over the mantle and so the post of Editor of the HLG Newsletter will soon be vacant.

The role:

* The main role will be to put together the 4 issues per year of the Newsletter by working with the Newsletter team of column editors and the Assistant Editor.

* Co-ordinating copy from the wider health library and information community.

* You will be a member of and contribute to the activities of the HLG committee.
What's in it for you?

* Excellent CPD opportunity, gaining and developing skills such as negotiation, project management, editing, and people management.

* Networking with members of the wider health libraries community.

This might just be the opportunity you are looking for in terms of CPD for 2017 and onwards! I would be happy to answer any questions or queries about the role and would enthusiastically encourage you all to think about whether this exciting opportunity to develop the newsletter is something that you would be interested in taking forward.

The closing date for expressions of interest will be close of play Wednesday 18th January 2017 - please compose a short paragraph as to what particularly interests you about the role and what experience you have which may be relevant, and send it to me: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.

Many thanks,
Elise
