SLA Europe is pleased to offer two opportunities for current European library and information science students and new professionals (those who have been working in the field for less than five years since qualification) to attend the 2017 SLA Conference. SLA Europe is offering awards with two Divisions of SLA: Academic Division and Legal Division. These Early Career Conference Awards provide valuable opportunities for new professionals in LIS to develop and establish themselves within their chosen sector. The Awards allow winners to attend the 2017 SLA Annual Conference and INFO-EXPO in Phoenix, USA, 18 – 20 June 2017 and cover all expenses including conference registration, hotel accommodation, economy return airfare to Phoenix, and meals. The deadline for applications is 17th February 2017 and winners will be notified in March 2017.
