Dear All, I've just had an enquiry from a colleague in our Education Department about a simple way to catalogue their collection of skulls, bone, stuffed specimens (exciting stuff!). These items are only used for educational purposes in school groups, and are generally things the Education Team have acquired over the years, rather than anything rare, or unique, that would require more specialist attention. Unfortunately, there's no budget for this, so this is where I need your advice. Are any of you using either free, or low cost, Library Management Systems? If so, I'd appreciate any thoughts about them - especially if you catalogue any artefacts using the software. Looking forward to hearing some responses.
