That’s an interesting approach – where do you publicise that you might charge for reading unsolicited DBAs?

Which is why we say we’ll charge to read them if they haven’t spoken to us first…

Not had to try to levy the charge yet, but it has started to achieve the REAL aim, of getting producers of DBAs to talk to us about them first….

Chris,

Most of them we don't ask for, they just do them anyway!

Hi all,

Just after an idea of what others do in a particular situation.

If you have a DBA on a piece of land that says that there is no archaeology, but a later evaluation and excavation shows there was significant archaeology surviving (which then becomes logged as a monument), do you link the DBA to the subsequent monument record even though the DBA did not identify it at all and adds nothing to the understanding of the monument.

Thanks

Paul
