We have been running them purely internally for nearly a year. So far, we only have exams officers qualified as administrators (who are the only ones who can book in and invigilate the tests) so this means that exams are tied up whilst they are on. The area to book them in is on the ground floor and the exam room (also used as a classroom) on the second floor. It is incredibly resource heavy, impractical. The idea was to make it some sort of commercial venture, but luckily only a few students have taken the tests. You have to take a test to be an administrator and this license only lasts a year when you have to re-take. As you may deduce, I am not a huge fan!! This is a centre that can run exams like the Theory Driving Test. It is different to being a Pearson/Edexcel centre even though for that we do use Pearson Vue software as well as POP.
