Hi Sarah

Thanks for your comments, the only problem I see with the Kindle is all his other books would need to be deleted so he can't access them and he may not want to do that. We will have a chat with him, we have spoken to AQA and they weren't very helpful!

Thanks.

The illumination technology for a Kindle and an ipad is very different and a kindle, on purpose, is much kinder to your eyes - I would've guessed for a VI student that would be preferable. As long as wifi was disabled on the kindle I don't see why one cant be used in this situation, as it is his nww. You need to ask the JCQ for guidance I think.

I believe he uses a Kindle in lessons, but I don't think that would not be allowed in an exam.

Hi

We have a VI student taking A level English Lit and they have 6 books for that exam. We are thinking of downloading them on to an I-pad which would be disabled from the internet. Has anyone had to do anything similar in the past, any ideas gratefully received.

Thanks.
