Out of interest, I am sitting a group of staff for a Level 2 gym instructing exam next week, and I'll make the point to them afterwards about how the students must feel to sit an exam that means so much to their futures! I wonder if your tutor wants to sit an exam - let alone run one!

Thanks Paul, we have a fair few students transition saying they have had smaller rooms and schools have confirmed this but there is no evidence of need.

My argument is everyone gets anxious round exams, although I have had a tutor argue with me otherwise today!!

Subject: Smaller Room

Hi,

I was wondering what other FE colleges stances were on Smaller Rooms for students who have been given a smaller room at secondary school as it improved a students exam performance on the premise they have anxiety - all be it undiagnosed as the students have not visited their GP.

Are colleges allocating smaller rooms with no evidence of need?

Many thanks
