We require an External Validation Panel Member for a one day validation event on Thursday 23rd February 2017 here at the University of Derby. The programme being put forward for validation is an MSc Mechanical Engineering and Design, which has been developed by our collaborative partner Mediterranean College based in Athens (alongside an MSc in Civil Engineering which will also be considered at the same event, but this already has a subject specific External Panel member proposed for it). Previous validation panel experience is not essential but desirable, and there will be a honorarium paid alongside the normal travel/accommodation expenses. Applicants should be knowledgeable in the Mechanical Engineering subject field and ideally have collaborative working experience/knowledge.
