The Learning and Development team at the University of Essex (Colchester campus) require a higher education specialist with experience leading a PGCAP (or equivalent), preferably
a Senior or Principal Fellow of the HEA, to work as external examiner for our Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice (PG CHEP). The role involves oversight of course content and structure through the annual course review process, checking marking/
feedback/ assessment procedures and consistency, attending the exam board meeting in early December and producing an examiners report. The external examiner will receive a
fee and expenses to cover travel costs etc. Further information can be found on our webpages
