Subject: [BASEES-MEMBERS] Special Issue of Historical Research

Dear BASEES members,

A special issue of the journal Historical Research marking the centenary of the Russian Revolution might be of interest to many of you. The issue focuses on showcasing recent and ongoing research by younger and mid-career historians and includes articles on the February Revolution in Krasnoiarsk, the Bolshevik-SR coalition government, revolutionaries in Finland before WWI, Sino-Russian conflict during the civil war, travelling revolutionary tribunals, emotions and criminal law, early Soviet prisons, Bolshevik understandings of the agency of perpetrators, Ukrainian warlords, nervous weakness and visions of health, rights and equality for the Russian deaf, and commemorating 1917 in 2017.

More details and the articles are available at:

http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/hisr.v90.247/issuetoc

The articles are free to view throughout this year!

Best wishes

Matt
