Hi

All of our students with or without an SpLD can apply for an extension to a deadline, with evidence of mitigating circumstances of up to 14 days. Students with SpLD will have a Learning Support Plan (LSP) that includes an extended deadline. They can also apply to an extension to that date for reasons not covered within their LSP. As with all students they must supply evidence of the mitigating circumstances.

Kind regards

Kathy

We don't either - there would have to be additional mitigating circumstances [but we do normally give around 4-6 weeks for coursework to be completed anyway]

As a team we are looking to revise our policy for extended deadlines with students who have SpLD, does your university offer extended deadlines for students with a SpLD?
