Dear All, This is a very interesting conversation. It is a great shame about FX Software. Craig's email below regarding the pointers look equally impressive from both a VI and dyspraxic perspective. best regards, Andrew Veasey FHEA M: 07727 035 588 E: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> Please consider the environment before printing this email. ________________________________ From: Assistive Technology interest group <[log in to unmask]> on behalf of MILL Craig <[log in to unmask]> Sent: 10 January 2017 11:37 To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: FX Software The Large Mouse Pointers from the excellent ACE Centre are very good: http://acecentre.org.uk/large-pointers Craig From: Assistive Technology interest group [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of John Conway Sent: 10 January 2017 11:07 To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: FX Software Sorry for a slightly off-topic question …… is there a bigger mouse arrow for use as a “pointer” in PowerPoint or can something like Bigger Cursors be used in PPT? CALL offered to host the software but to no avail. As far as I’m aware it is still okay to redistribute locally. As you know some of the programs are on MyStudyBar – which I updated last month, so I guess you can still get them via Eduapps. Some of the programs are also available to download from a variety of sites – but they tend to ‘spyware’ type sites which add other ‘unwanted’ elements as part of the download process. I’ll keep you posted if I hear from Chris.
