Please join us to celebrate the launch of the AHRC-funded project the Lexis of Cloth and Clothing: Medieval Royal Wardrobe Accounts based at the University of Westminster, Durham University and The National Archives.



There will be a welcome by Dr Valerie Johnson, Director of Research and Collections at The National Archives, Louise Sylvester, Professor of English Language at the University of Westminster and Dr Mark Chambers will introduce the Lexis of Cloth and Clothing Database, and Dr Charles Farris will discuss the project's activities and demonstrate its website.



The talks will be followed by a drinks reception and an opportunity to view some of the manuscripts which feature in the project.



Date: Thursday 2nd February

Venue: The National Archives

Time: Introductory remarks at 6pm followed by Drinks Reception from 6.45pm
