Would any UK lab measuring urine 5HIAA by HPLC be willing to share a primary source for their reference range please?

We use a range of <50umol/25hrs and have done for many years but searching online for an original paper has produced a variety of ranges.

I am aware of Trusts which use ranges quoted below but obviously I don’t know whether they use HPLC or another method:

5-42 umol/24hrs

<40 umol/24hrs

9-45 umol/24hrs

<50 umol/24hrs

Any help on this would be gratefully appreciated

Louise
