Some of you will have heard this already, but I have the sad task of bringing news of the death of Angus Fletcher, on November 28, in Albuquerque, NM, where he had lived for many years.  His most recent book came out just this past spring:  The Topological Imagination:  Spheres, Edges, and Islands.  There was no one like him.
