Hi VickyIt may refer to the researcher in residence model. UCL have used it quite a lot in integrated health and social careIt's being used alongside realist approaches in the English Integrated Pioneers Programme and you can find an number of descriptions via Google.HTHJanetJanet HarrisNIHR Knowledge Mobilisation Research Fellow

Does anyone have a reference or example of a realist evaluation (or synthesis) that describes the researcher as “in-house”? This was a term I heard at the CARES conference this year but in my notes I do not seem to have documented where I heard it! Also, from my very quantitative background, I am not familiar with how familiar this term is within qualitative research.
I am looking for a realist example, but any examples or references would be gratefully received.
Many thanks,
Vicky
