Content Sales Executive

 

A leading STM publishing society based in London is looking to recruit a Content Sales Executive. This is a newly created role in which the postholder will develop new digital capabilities which create commercial opportunities from editorial content. You will both identify and secure advertising and advertorial
content to go alongside thematic content or newly commissioned articles. You be innovative in finding new ways to meet new client needs.

 

In this role you will:

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing digital sales strategy preferably in advertising and sponsorship.

 

Business Development Manager

 

A leading scientific publisher based in London is now seeking a Business Development Manager to focus on advertising and sponsorship sales on two of their community websites, which keep medical professionals updated with the latest in scientific research.  This role will be responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly revenue targets by proactively sourcing prospects, finding new leads and closing new business.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

 

-              Call all sales-ready leads provided by the marketing team and solicit referrals and new contacts through this activity

-              Cold call any new prospects and target existing customers for upsell opportunities

-              Target customers who are dormant to win back opportunities

-              Contribute fully to the monthly and quarterly company objectives and targets

 

The successful candidate will have significant sales experience, ideally within the advertising and sponsorship field and any background in science publishing would be an advantage. The Business Development Manager will be a confident salesperson with a results-driven attitude.
