Dear All apparently attachments aren't a PCSI thing! The Royal Parks have received an enormous one-off lottery grant to study grassland invertebrates throughout 2017. They are setting up a project team of three to run this. Closing date(s) are the start of January so people will need to be quick as the TRP application forms are especially tedious to fill in. Two weeks (including Christmas) seems an odd way of getting good people but that's just my opinion. There used to be something called 'open and fair'. "Open - means that job opportunities must be advertised publicly and potential candidates given reasonable access to information about the job and its requirements, and about the selection process" http://civilservicecommission.independent.gov.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Recruitment-Principles.pdf Two weeks notice combined with Christmas and New Year may be stretching that somewhat! I attach 3 job descriptions for you to circulate to anyone else you consider deserving. more information is available at: Project Manager - http://www.supporttheroyalparks.org/about_us/jobs/mi_project_manager Project Officer - http://www.supporttheroyalparks.org/about_us/jobs/mission_invertebrate_project_officer Learning Officer - http://www.supporttheroyalparks.org/about_us/jobs/mission_invertebrate_learning_officer and associated pages. regards John A W Lock http://www.youtube.com/deerisible ********************************************************************** psci-com how-to: Once subscribed, send emails for the list to [log in to unmask] If not subscribed, either subscribe here https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A0=psci-com or send reqests for items to be posted on your behalf to [log in to unmask] To unsubscribe (or silence messages while away) send an email (any subject) to [log in to unmask] with one of the following messages (ignoring text in brackets) • signoff psci-com (to leave the list) • set psci-com nomail (to stop receiving messages while on holiday) • set psci-com mail (to resume getting messages) Contact list owner at [log in to unmask] Small print and JISCMail acceptable use policy https://sites.google.com/site/pscicomjiscmail/the-small-print **********************************************************************
