Subject: SQUIRE UK announcement 7- 8 March 2017

Dear all

Please find attached information on the SQUIRE (Standards for Quality Improvement reports excellence) writing course. Which will be held in Leicester, in March next year, supported by the Health Foundation.

This will be an excellent opportunity to explore how to get the best out of writing up improvement work:

·       to enable spread best practice

·       to be precise about the intervention and how it was implemented

·       to produce work of a high quality, publishable standard.

This will be more important than ever, in line with the BMJ’s new open- access journal for quality improvement work, from early 2017 BMJ will publish QI reports in a successor to BMJ Quality Improvement Reports (QIR) called ‘BMJ Open Quality’ (BMJ OQ).

Please circulate among your networks!

Best wishes

Helen
