Exciting event in the new year!

GEM London Twilight: ‘The Museum Learning Revolution 2016-2020’

A lot can happen in 5 years. And right now it’s time to leave 2016 behind
(phew!) and look ahead to the future of Museum Learning.

Join us for the first GEM London Twilight event of 2017 at the V&A on Fri 13
Jan from 18:00-20:30, followed by FREE entry to the exhibition; You Say You
Want a Revolution? Records and Rebels 1966-1970.

Influenced by the exhibition, and the dramatic societal changes from
1966-1970, the theme of this twilight event focuses on the creative process
for museum learning programming. Encouraging us to consider where we are now
and where we want to be in 2020, our guest speakers will facilitate the
following workshops:

Workshop 1: ‘The Pushmi-pullyu of change’ with Sarah Campbell, Head of
Learning Programmes at V&A

Workshop 2: ‘Interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary approaches’ with
Robert Fleming, Templer Study Centre Manager, National Army Museum

Workshop 3: ‘Strategies for success: what can we learn from other sectors?’
with Jo-Anne Sunderland Bowe, Project Coordinator, The Creative Museum
project / Heritec

Workshop 4: ‘Spaces for yes’ with Louise White, representing the Creative
Museum project, Heritec and Louise White Consultancy

Tickets £5 for members, £15 for non-members.
