Due to unforeseen circumstances, the University of Northampton is urgently looking for an External Examiner for its Foundation Degree in Learning and
Teaching. (see attached course information sheet)
The appointment is to start as soon as possible and would be for the 4 academic years 2016-2020 with duties to include external moderation of assignments,
attendance at the summer exam board and completion of an annual report.
We are looking for someone:

who is suitably qualified with academic expertise and professional experience working in similar HE provision;
·
has understanding of the needs of a workforce engaging with children and young people;
Previous external examining experience is preferred but not essential as you would have contact with the external examiner for the BA (top-up) in Learning and Teaching.
