Apologies for x-postingsā€¦

Dear colleagues,

You may be interested in a new open-access book on global food and water security that has been published by Springer as part of the International Year of Global Understanding series called "Eating, Drinking: Surviving" edited by Peter Jackson, Walter Spiess, and myself.

The publication addresses the global challenges of food and water security in a rapidly changing and complex world. The chapters highlight the links between bio-physical and socio-cultural processes, making connections between local and global scales, and focusing on the everyday practices of eating and drinking, essential for human survival. Written by international experts, each contribution is research-based but accessible to the general public.

The entire book or individual chapters can be downloaded here: http://link.springer.com/book/10.1007%2F978-3-319-42468-2 <http://link.springer.com/book/10.1007%2F978-3-319-42468-2>

Please feel free to share with others who may be interested.

Thank you!

Best,
Farhana
