Hi Yanna

We have been using plain Grade Centre columns with rubrics for some time. The rubric has one row (criterion) per exam question and 10 columns (levels of achievement) using percentage range.

The rubric is attached via Edit Column Information and the marking takes place via View Grade Details.

But perhaps you are on a different version of BB ???

Regards

Ian

Subject: Marking exams on grade centre

Dear All,

We have an academic who wishes to mark an exam direct into the Blackboard’s grade centre (rather than into an Excel Spreadsheet). The academic would like to use and have created a simple rubric attached to an assignment so that they can get grading column in the grade centre.

So far so good... However, it requires a submission in order to trigger the availability of the marking tools provided by the rubric.  The manual mark facility whereby one could enter a final grade for the exam does not allow a rubric.

Anyone had this scenario before, any ideas how to overcome this are very welcome.

Many thanks,

Yanna
