I'm attaching the current BNIM bibliography in which you will find references to domestic violence, substance abusers and workers in the field of mental health. Check Bibliography A which has just BNIM studies.....

Best wishes

Just a quick point re the above. I've remembered that Robert Hesketh has written a short experience-based paper on adapting BNIM for young people published by Sage (2013). The reference along with others is in the current BNIM-bibliography.

Robert or others may have more to say.

Best wishes to all

Dear All

I am considering BNIM and was hoping I could ask your advice on the use of it in my research area.

I am a PhD student at the Open University in the faculty of Wellbeing. My research area is looking at Gang members who have been exposed to domestic violence in childhood. I am currently exploring different methods and am considering using BNIM. My background is in Anthropology/ Gender Studies. Although it is not set in stone my target research participant group is young people between the ages of 15yrs to 25yrs.

- Has anyone had experience of using BNIM with children aged 15 years + ? What is your sense of how well the method would work with children of this age group?

- Has anyone had experience of using BMIN with vulnerable/chaotic participants, perhaps with substance misuse issues etc?

- Has anyone used it to look at the topics of domestic violence or gang involvement?

Any thoughts and advice would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Warm Regards

Jade
