nearly 35 years later, the Williams-Nichols Collection is one of the leading archives of LGBTQ materials in the country. It is housed at University of Louisville’s
Ekstrom Library and features more than 6,300 books, 30,000 print
publications, 300 T-shirts, and loads of buttons, bumper stickers,
photographs, CDs and much more.
UofL commended Williams, 70, for his efforts with an honorary degree on Dec. 15.
