Dear All,

We have currently just moved all of our student forms online, including the Extenuating circumstances claim form, to a Student Hub centre. We have an issue with our EC forms whereby the process isn’t as robust as it could be due to our regulations still requiring hard copy evidence (scans, photocopies, photo’s etc are not accepted) to support the claim.

Therefore please can I ask:

·         Does your institution have a similar format in terms of electronic submission for Extenuating Circumstances, and if so how does it work with regards to getting the original evidence?

·         Does your institution accept scans as a mode of evidence for claims?

Many thanks,

Michael Percival
