Dear Scholars,

Thanks to those of you who have already submitted their abstracts – we are excited to welcome participants from around the world in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. This message is also a final reminder that the abstract submission deadline for the International Conference on Tourism, Ethics and Global Citizenship: Connecting the Dots closes on December 20, 2016! Please submit your abstract asap via [log in to unmask]

The conference aims to strengthen the academic and professional networks that are necessary to push forward the discussions of tourism’s manifold intersections with existing and emergent ethical approaches and forms of citizenship, and to discuss these concepts to apply new insights in our research, policy documents and daily practices. The conference takes place on 3-6 July 2017 in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands and will host keynote presentations by several prominent scholars in the field, including Claudio Minca, Clare Weeden, Raoul Bianchi and Angela Benson.

For more information please see the attached announcement or visit our website: www.saxion.nl/ctd.

Kind regards,

The Conference Committee

Dr Inge Hermann, Saxion University of Applied Sciences
