*** Less than 2 weeks until registration deadline for company exhibitors - 16th December 2016*** It gives us great pleasure to officially invite you to our annual PSI Careers Event, to be held at the University of Reading on 22nd February 2017. As well as MSc students, the invitation is extended to final year BSc and PhD students with an interest in pharmaceutical statistics and statistical programming. The half-day event will include individual company stands, a series of themed presentations and a workshop. Each presentation will be run by a different company, with each company focusing on different elements of the pharmaceutical industry as decided by PSI CALC. We would also like to invite universities to run a stand to advertise statistical MSc or PhD courses, or university affiliated statistical consulting units, so that students can be made fully aware of their options. This event has replaced some of the individual company careers or recruitment talks that were held at the request of various universities in the past. This is an excellent opportunity to raise the profile of your company or university with students who are interested in a career in pharmaceutical statistics. We look forward to seeing you there! This year PSI CALC are also offering the opportunity to enhance the presence of your company through sponsorship. These funds will also help support PSI CALC in running educational and career guidance events in the future. Sponsorship options are: ● Branded cotton tote bags for all students at an additional sponsorship cost of £800 (+VAT). Each student will be given a bag containing event information and flyers, which can be printed with your company logo or message. ● Branded lanyards attached to name tags for all students at a cost of £1000 (+VAT). PSI CALC will arrange for the production of lanyards featuring your company logo or a message of your choice. ● An opportunity to sponsor lunch for both students and company/university representatives and give a brief introductory talk at the start of the event, at a cost of £1000 (+VAT). ● An opportunity to include company leaflets or materials in a bag which will be handed out to each student at the start of the event. This will be charged at an additional sponsorship cost of £100 (+VAT) and may be a good option for companies who aren’t able to attend in person.
