Hello there,

I hope all your respective projects and ventures are going well.

I am organising an audio-guided walking art event using an MP3 file and would like advice re. most suitable audio devices to use. I am applying for a small grant. I originally applied for ipod shuffles but the grant awarding committee baulked at the cost (although have agreed to defer a decision until I have explored other options as they like the idea) and I now wonder if I was being unreasonable!

Whatever I order needs to be fairly easy to use, both in terms of operating for participants and uploading files from Mac's and other pc's and also reliable as we intend using whatever devices we eventually purchase for other events. Do people have experience of asking participants to bring along their own earbuds, etc. If so, how has this worked out?

I'd be grateful for some advice from those of you who are familiar with these sorts of things, if you have a moment or two to spare!

Regards, Linda.
