For one-off projects: Choose a large company you don't particularly like 
that sells media products and has an easy returns policy (for example a 
tax avoiding corporation).

Buy, use, return.

Buy quality.

This works very well for all sorts of things and, as the person dealing 
with the customer is probably underpaid and relatively unmotivated, I 
have never landed on a blacklist or had any issues (not that I have 
engaged in such underhand tactics when trying to realise art projects 
with insufficient funds).
