Dear all

at our last software meeting we had a good discussion about getting a first version of our software ready. To move this forward, we will have weekly t-cons open to all interested/active developers/users. These t-cons are intended to be freeform where everybody is free to ask questions/make suggestions/talk.

Example topics to discuss during these meetings:

- make classes/naming more consistent between PET and MR, and as clear as possible

- features to add or postpone

- docker vs VirtualBox

- github subprojects or modules

- contributions for documentation

- testing

We will not have a separate mid-December Software Meeting as that'd lead to too much repetition. A date for the January meeting will be fixed later once we see how we get along.

Our current intention is to have 4 online meetings each Friday 10.30-11.30 UK time, so 25/11, 2/12, 9/12, 16/12. We will try to use Skype for Business. Not 100% sure how that will work with many attendants, but we will find out... The link to join the meetings is below (same link for all meetings).

In addition, feel free to file "Issues" on https://github.com/CCPPETMR for things that need improvement, or send email to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> (you might want to subscribe to this list).

Finally, our current "master" branches of the software are somewhat out-of-date. We will occasionally merge the updates to the master branches. If you want to check the upstream_update branches (those work with most recent version of Gadgetron and STIR), the easiest way to get this is to use our Virtual Machine and do the following:

VM_update.sh

~/devel/CCPETMR_VM/scripts/ADD_REMOTE.sh

~/devel/CCPETMR_VM/scripts/UPDATE_ALL.sh
