John provides an excellent tutorial.Hi Ned,I think you should update SPM8 to SPM12 first.(Even if you are in a situation you need to stick to SPM8, learning the current version of SPM first will help you get more support.)
Then, preprocess your data in a standard way.
http://www.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/~john/misc/VBMclass15.pdf If you follow this tutorial, you will find out which part of preprocessing you did incorrectly.Best regards,Kiyotaka2016-11-23 1:04 GMT+09:00 Shah H <[log in to unmask]>:
Dr. Kiyotaka and Dr. JohnSomehow, I do not see c1 or c2 images in my folder containing files created by segmentation procedure. I use "old segment " and import to Dartel to make create dartel templates. Since I do not have tpm images, I can not use new segment module to create c1 and c2 files. Any suggestionsThanksNedSent from my iPhoneHi Kiyotaka
Thank you very much, Let me try tomorrow.
Thanks
Ned

Hi Ned,
I see you specify "rc1" image, not "c1" image for input.
When you normalize image using Dartel, you need to use "c1" image.
Please try c1 image instead of rc1, which might resolve your problem.
Best regards,
Kiyotaka

[log in to unmask] >:Hello SPM experts
I have a question about Dartel to MNI space. When I tried to run dartel to mni space,in spm8 somehow the images were cut off, (snapshot attached) Not sure what is going on. The input images were fine. Could you some one provide some input on this?
Thanks
Ned
