Outline
This course is designed to provide a range of skills and techniques in the use of Excel for social and policy research.
This course is aimed at people working in social and policy research in public, private and third sector organisations who want to improve their skills in the use of Excel. The course includes a case study to build a profile of Manchester
based on neighbourhood statistics. Students who wish to use their own material for the course are welcome to do so – please contact the course team to discuss any preparatory work that might be necessary to enable you to do this.
